Indications up 10 cents per bushel for Feb-Jun shipments compared to yesterday's levels. Movement is due to the drop in CBOT futures and the exchange rate and the delayed harvest. Several municipalities in Mato Grosso, Goiás, Tocantins, and Bahia reported heavy rainfall this week. The problem is that the sun isn’t coming out, leaving soybean moisture levels very high (30% is normal). Many fields are desiccated, but farmers can’t get in to harvest. Reports of damage and anomalies are increasing.
