All Ag markets are in slow motion. Farmer selling of soybeans and corn in Brazil yesterday was very small – 250k tons of soybeans and 200k tons for corn. In Argentina, farmer selling was strong yesterday – 237k tons of soybeans for OC and 50k tons for NC. Corn with 107k tons OC and 32 NC. Yesterday exporters in Argentina registered almost 900k tons of Smeal – the strongest day of the season. This number confirms a strong October crush and possible increase of smeal stocks. Very good rains in Mato Grosso, Goiás and Tocantins this week – planting in MT has almost finished. There is a one week delay in MT and the weather is very cloudy – too early to say, but the delay could increase to 10 days. Brazil keeps selling Feb and June CFR. Urea prices CFR Brz has stabilized and the flat price for safrinha increased – more barter was reported for 2025. The Urea-Corn ratio in Mato Grosso has decreased. Smeal and SBO sales in China this week slowed down – smeal sales this week are at 330k tons, 200k tons lower than LW (2 days). Crush rate dropped for 4th consecutive day.
